Elif Su Yilmaz

With love, respect, and with heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of our doctoral student in the History of Art, Design, and Visual Culture, Elif Su Yilmaz.

Elif Su joined our program in the Fall of 2021, and will be awarded her PhD, posthumously, in Fall 2025. 

Her impact on her students, her colleagues, and her mentors was enormous.  

Elif Su: We miss you. May your passion for social justice inspire us for as long as we walk this earth.
