Voices in Transmission: Podcasting as Media Practice
Exploring the Theory and Craft of Podcast Production
Presented by the Sound Studies Institute

This four-part workshop series introduces the art and practice of podcasting, guiding participants through the complete process of developing and distributing an episode. The sessions will cover audio storytelling, technical production, and strategies for sharing work with audiences.

Whether your interest lies in research dissemination, reporting, arts engagement, or other podcast genres, this course provides the tools and knowledge to create compelling podcasts and documentary sound projects.

• Cost: $50 per session or $175 for all four

• Priority Registration: Media and Technology Studies students

• Fall Term: Mondays, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., every second week beginning September 22, 2025
