Website for Aurora alerts growing in popularity

Department of Physics-based Aurora Watch is attracting more eyes as interest in tracking aurora borealis grows.

Lucy Haines of Metro News Edmonton reports that there are now more than 7,000 subscribers to Aurora Watch, the 91ÒùĸÊÓƵ-based website that provides a real-time monitor of geomantic acvitivy in the Edmonton area.

Aurora Watch was founded by Department of Physics professor Ian Mann.
