Message from the Chair

This past year we witnessed the resilience and continued commitment of our department members to excellence in patient care in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. I am humbled by the achievements of our department members across the domains of clinical innovation, quality and safety, research, and education. We will always confront challenges - from ICU bed capacity, to after-hours coverage, continued grant funding, and targeted recruitment.
