Welcome to our research community in the Faculty of Education!
As one of Canada's largest faculties of education, in one of our country's premier research intensive universities, we believe that engaging in meaningful research is a fundamental commitment. Sharing our new research discoveries is both a responsibility and an exciting opportunity.
As a community of researchers and educators, we are devoted to developing new knowledge to enhance learning, improve living and advance society. We place high value on developing top quality research with the intention of enhancing understanding and improving professional practice. We are dedicated to supporting quality education by working closely with our educational and practice communities through excellence in research.
Together our professors, instructors, graduate students and undergraduate students contribute to a dynamic research environment in our Faculty of Education, ensuring that educational practice informs research and research informs educational practice. Our research spans local, national and international contexts, addressing the needs of a broad range of learners and contexts across the lifespan.
