Welcome to Family Medicine 91ÒùĸÊÓÆµ at the 91ÒùĸÊÓÆµ. Our comprehensive Primary Care 91ÒùĸÊÓÆµ Program includes the Theme Areas of Health Services, Medical Education, Care of the Elderly, Distinct Populations and research related to the discipline of family medicine.

Family medicine residents have many opportunities to develop research and scholarly skills through a variety of academic activities. Our integrated Family Medicine Residency 91ÒùĸÊÓÆµ Curriculum ensures that residents acquire the skills to become lifelong learners and to keep up-to-date. The curriculum is comprised of evidence-based workshops; journal club; finding answers to clinical questions (BEARs project); practice quality improvement projects (PQI); 91ÒùĸÊÓÆµ Day; research project (optional); and research electives (optional).

Our mission is to:

  • promote, support, create, and disseminate research knowledge and scholarly activity in the discipline of family medicine,
  • increase research capacity in the Department of Family Medicine, and
  • enhance the research skills of faculty members, residents, and students.
