This year's 91ÒùĸÊÓÆµ, Space Exploration Symposium included talks on soviet space history, space science and exploration, careers in aerospace, and more. Our keynote speakers were Dr. Nina Lanza from Vermillion Planet, LLC, and Dr. Vasiliki Rahimzadeh, Assistant Professor of medical ethics and health policy at Baylor College of Medicine. Our industrial keynote speaker was Karina Sapelnikova, Head of Propulsion at PAVE in Switzerland and former Logistics Officer for Launch Canada.
Daytime talks took place in Tory 3-36, with opening words from Dr. Chris Herd at 9am on Thursday October 16th, and was scheduled through to the afternoon of Friday October 17th.
The FREE keynote lectures and roundtable discussion took place at 7pm on Thursday October 16th at the Myer Horowitz Theatre.
Attendance to the Space Exploration Symposium was FREE and was supported by The BETA Dialogues Endowment for Space Science, Ethics and Philosophy, ISSET UofA.
