Who We Are
The Office of 91ĸƵ offers support to researchers to increase external research revenue, particularly for interdisciplinary, large-scale, multi-partner, national and international research collaborations. The Office of 91ĸƵ works closely with researchers and research teams across the four faculties, the four Faculty Associate Deans 91ĸƵ, and the 91ĸƵ Partner Network.
Leadership

Associate Dean, 91ĸƵ: was most recently the associate dean (undergraduate) in the Faculty of Arts at the 91ĸƵ. He is an internationally recognized scholar in criminology and terrorism studies. As a public intellectual engaged in impactful work, Dr. Oriola has received national and international recognition, as well as awards from a variety of community-based organizations.

Director, Office of 91ĸƵ: supports research by helping create safer spaces for complex conversations. Oliver has a BA in History and Political Science, and an MA in Communications and Technology. He has more than 20 years of post-secondary administrative experience - and has served on the 91ĸƵ Board of Governors and Senate, as well as several other local and national committees. Fun fact: Oliver is only ichi nensei (Grade 1) in Japanese, but can fold an origami bird behind his back.

Operating in the portfolio of the Vice-President (91ĸƵ and Innovation), the university-wide 91ĸƵ Partner Network supports CSSH with a dedicated group of partners. The research partners each have genre-based portfolios to help target specific areas within the disciplines represented by CSSH.
