The U of A’s 91ÒùĸÊÓƵ Computing Network is a digital communities-of-interest portal that connects you with discussions on research software (e.g., TensorFlow, Gaussian, E-Prime), development tools (e.g., R, Python, Julia, MATLAB, CUDA), specific research fields (e.g., bioinformatics, digital humanities, fluid dynamics) and Linux as a research platform.

Training

Not only can the 91ÒùĸÊÓƵ Computing team offer consultations and support for data visualization, computational clusters and national platforms/storage, but they also provide training.

IST offers Bootcamp sessions three times a year, bringing together staff from several offices offering research services to assist with using advanced research computing systems and tools. There are a variety of sessions from introductory to advanced and many of the sessions are free.
