91ÒùĸÊÓƵ Museums Celebrates Museum Excellence on the 91ÒùĸÊÓƵ Campus
The 91ÒùĸÊÓƵ Museums (U91ÒùĸÊÓƵ Museums) has recognized the efforts and hard work of Curators, Collection Staff, and volunteers who work in the museum collections on campus for the last 22 years in our annual Museum Celebration awards event. Although the last two years we have had to celebrate these achievements remotely, it is still important to acknowledge the outstanding work of the museum community on campus.
The annual Museum Celebration awards event is meant to recognize and celebrate those who demonstrate advocacy, excellence and commitment for U91ÒùĸÊÓƵ Museums collections on campus. This could include: the completion of significant museum collection projects (such as a museum collection inventory, or digitization of specimens, etc.), positive impact on the learning environment for U91ÒùĸÊÓƵ students, excellence in community outreach (such as exhibition design, community tours, etc.), and long-time leadership of their museum collection and on U91ÒùĸÊÓƵ Museums committees.
This year, the 91ÒùĸÊÓƵ Museums celebrates a curator and several outstanding volunteers - who will be the first additions to our newly formed Volunteer Honour Roll - an award we created to celebrate volunteers who continued to make an impact during challenging times.
