Dr. Laleh Behjat
Dr. Laleh Behjat grew up in Iran, and completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Tehran. A distinguished professor in the Department of Electrical and Software Engineering at the University of Calgary and NSERC Chair for Women in Science and Engineering, Dr. Behjat’s research advances the design of computer circuits utilizing techniques in mathematics and software. She is a dedicated advocate for promoting inclusivity and diversity in STEM careers, empowering students of all ages as they navigate their interests in the sciences.

Dr Laleh Behjat a grandi en Iran et a obtenu son baccalauréat ès sciences à l’Université de Téhéran. Une professeure éminente du Département de génie électrique et informatique à l’Université de Calgary et Chaire pour les femmes en sciences et génie du CRSNG, les recherches du Dr Behjat avancent la conception des circuits électroniques en utilisant les techniques mathématiques et informatiques. Elle est une porte-parole dédiée qui promeut l’inclusion et la diversité en emplois de STIM et elle autonomise les étudiants de tous âges pendant leurs trajets en sciences.
