91ÒùĸÊÓƵ Development + Services
We focus on initiatives to enhance researcher success and build institutional research capacity at the 91ÒùĸÊÓƵ. This includes:
- Providing research administration services to support researchers throughout the lifecycle of a research project.
- Supporting the acquisition and use of cutting-edge research tools, infrastructure and spaces, including development support for programs delivered by the Canada Foundation for Innovation.
- Offering career development support for researchers at all career stages, including applications for external and internal awards.
- Delivering training and technology to enhance researcher competencies and increase research capacity in areas of strategic importance.
- Managing institutional initiatives and funding to catalyze research programs and enhance the impact of U of A researchers.
- Implementing initiatives to integrate principles and practices supporting equity, diversity, and inclusion in research, and to support Indigenous leadership in research and ethical, mutually beneficial research partnerships with Indigenous communities.
